Been a while since I last wrote. I have been doing the same thing for the last couple of months, going to the countryside to shoot the farmland and going to the coast to shoot the ocean. I have gotten some good shots of the coast and farmland. However, I have dedicated the month of October to street and portrait photography. I had schedule to shoot with an experience model on October 2nd but at the last minute had to cancel. Little disappointing I was really looking forward to the photoshoot but thing happen. But last weekend the Texas Renaissance kicked off there annually festival that goes until the last weekend in November. The Texas Renaissance ask for 10 photographer from a photography group I’m associated with to shoot the opening day. I was one of the lucky ones to be invited to shoot. The Texas Renaissance Festival is the nation's largest, most acclaimed Renaissance themed park. Each year, over 500,000 guests pass through the Festival, features about 500 costumed performers on 17 stages; hundreds of shops, international food, unique artisans, merchants and craft. An abundance of performers walking among the guests, and the Queen's Royal Finale fireworks at dusk. With so much going on and to see impossible to shoot everything in one day so I decided for this shoot I would shoot the ladies of the festival. It’s a terrible job to have to shoot beautiful ladies all day! But someone has to do it, Right! I have not decided what will be my theme the next time I shoot there it might be, the shows performers, the costumes, our the crafts. But whatever I choose it will be fun. The next two weekends October 16th and 22nd I will be do photoshoots with models one at a rundown farm and the other at Kemah Boardwalk.
