Early Saturday Morning woke up about 2:30am wide awake. I got out of bed walk around a little bit and then out of the blue I thought hey I have no plans in the morning why not go shoot at the Pleasure Pier in Galveston. I looked at the weather forecast and it looked good so decision made I’m going. I woke up my wife up and told her I’m going to Galveston now to shoot she looks at me, says what time is it, I say about 3am, she says okay but you are nuts. I get my close on get my gear and head out to Galveston Island. It takes about 90 minutes to get to Galveston. When I arrive the weather could not be better here it is in February and it is 60 degrees with no wind could not ask for a better night. I walked out to the end of one of the rock piers and looked around for a different perspective something that I had not shot before. I looked all around finally looking back behind me. I like what see behind me nice lighting from the pier, street, and stores. I thought this would make an interesting shot with the different colored lights and the reflection from the water. I was very happy with the how the photo turn out above.
